Hey there, thanks for visiting! Laura Mae Photography was born out of a desire to capture the beauty of our growing daughter, Evelyn Mae. With every passing year my passion for photography grows. Nothing fills my heart quite like delivering a gallery of beautiful, timeless photographs! No, really, I love it!

But enough about photography for a moment. Who am I, what makes me tick? I am a wife, mother and self-proclaimed animal lover, including household pets and one very special horse who moved all the way to Virginia with us from my home state of Michigan. Yes, that means if you’re from the South, I have a funny accent! When I’m not with my family you can find me at the barn or volunteering at church.

My heart for you and your family is that you *enjoy* your photography session experience, so that in addition to timeless photographs, you will come away with positive memories of your time together as a family. Put your fears aside about how your three year old will do with holding still and smiling for the camera! I’ll chase your kiddos around, make them laugh and when the time is right, we’ll pull everyone together for that perfect shot!
